Congratulations TINKY WINKY, aka purple, aka "Joel and friends"
With lots of big hucks the teletubbies struck deep and often to take the wood away from the Springfield Springflingers. With much vocalization from the crowd, we even got to witness a Spike/Grabby hug!


16 teams came together with great displays of skill and talent, making this the best competition to date.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time, talents, and spirit to make this the largest and best Gabor tournament yet.

Entry fee - $100 per team, 20 teams MAX
  • Date - SATURDAY May 29, 2004
  • Captains meeting : 9:00 am sharp, its a one day tourney, so we gotta get things going.
  • Games start promptly at 10. All rounds played on Saturday.
  • Frisbee central: Lewis Soccer Complex ~ SAME PLACE AS LAST YEAR!!!

  • Format : Savage 7: 5M / 2F , 9 people total per team.
  • # of teams- maximum 20 - first pay = play
  • Ratio of men/women - 5 male,2 female, 2 subs (your choice, but for injury only during game)
  • Proceeds- All proceeds raised go to the Dan Gabor memorial scholarship, located in the geosciences department of the University of Arkansas. It provides at least one student a year the opportunity to attend a summer long field camp in Montana. We hope you'll come join us for a great day of ultimate for a great cause.

    Things to keep in mind for the tourney:

    1) No dogs unless they are on a leash - this is a city ordinance that we can do nothing about and the park police do patrol the parks often during the summer.

    2) No Alcohol - open container laws and public intoxication laws are in full effect here in Fayetteville Parks.

    3)Please pack out what you packed in.

    These things are very important and failure to adhere with the law could cause us to lose this location....don't be that person, please.
